South Asia Outcomes: Consultations on the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness

June 17, 2015

The South Asia HLF Consultation had the key objectives of supporting partner countries in preparing for the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF-3); ensuring that the South Asian voices genuinely contribute to the design and outcome of the Accra High Level Forum; and providing an opportunity for partner countries to think long term, and to identify further steps towards aid effectiveness beyond Accra, towards HLF-4 in 2011.  The Consultation sought to achieve these objectives by bringing together diverse participants from eight South Asian countries – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
